One of its kind I created, just to explore creation of local art on canvas what rural people do on their mud houses.
The colourful clothes and the reflection is what enticed me to paint this. Another of the Benaras Ghats.
Another one of the India series . Had found it tough to get the serene look, but well with luck could manage. The issue with portraits with me is mainly to get the eyes right. This is particularly also because of my penchant and flair for landscapes.
Another small of the India series. The size went to its disadvantage. People were interested in the painting had the size been bigger. Well I had made it as a pair with the previous one, so it had to be small.

The last of my Aspens series .The sunlit backdrop and the purple foliage was something that I loved to paint It proudly adorns my dining area.
One of the Aspens with fall colours, was so popular had to make two of them. These were the first paintings where a knife was used to paint the barks. The experience was so exhilarating that using of knife has become now a compulsion.
Spring is in the air, and so the bloom of spirited colours. Loved to paint this collage of colorful flowers, though I named it ' Yellow Flowers ' Placed at the entrance door of my house, it brings a smile on every face that enters..
The Trek, Painting the mountains was always a favourite. Here the melting snow rivulet, against the snow clad mountain with bright sunshine and sharp shadows was an interesting subject. Loved to share the outcome.
After the Aspen series with white barks, I continued with the forests albeit with brown barks .The sun trying to stream in on the spring of flowers, made even the blue distant flowers appear as a stream of water flowing.
..
At some point of time, the theme of lights in the sky ( aurora borealis )had caught my imagination and had created a series. This one, with the purple flames against the orange glow of the hut was just too stark. Even the trees around had become almost transparent in the glow.
..
The colours and the brightness egged me to make this painting of the corals and fish under sea. One of my series for the children;s room. The orange fish large and small peacefully coexist in this small patch of coral..
Again the mountains, Here Used four canvases to create this one canvas. It was a bit tough to manage the coordination but the outcome was satisfactory. The grazing cattle and the sun reflecting the bright pasture area, created a tremendous contrast with the greens of the distant mountains. It was very well framed by my carpenter so the overall outcome was much better than my expectation.
Paintings sold in the past over so many years, the proceeds of which would now help me partially fund my charity on 'Nutrition' and ' Woman empowerment'
